For the pre-school education of my children, my family participated in Village Nursery School (VNS), a co-operative pre-school program, from 2010-2013 and again from 2017-2020. All families who participated in VNS were responsible for certain jobs pertaining to school functioning. Positions that I held were on the fundraising committee, as well as the resource committee. Tasks included were organizing fundraising events, including the Fall Festival & Silent Auction, as well as yard-sales and bake-sales. Additionally, tasks included were supporting in the classroom, chaperoning field trips, creating art projects, newsletters and yearbooks.
